From the Art Deco collection, beauty in simplicity, inspired needlework from artist Clarice Cliff. Clarice Cliff was an English ceramic artist active from 1922 to 1963. She became a ceramic artist, becoming the head of the factory artistic department. Hand stitched, lined box crafted from Peltogyne, commonly known as purpleheart, amendoim, violet wood, amaranth and other local names (often referencing the colour of the wood) of 23 native to tropical rainforests of Central and South America; from Guerrero, Mexico, through Central America.

Lightly clean wood with a damp cloth. The needlework has been treated with Scotchguard Fabric Crafts Spray protector. It is advisable to use this every six months or even once per year to keep the needlework protected from dust, dirt, or oils from your hands. Be sure to cover the wood area before spraying, and follow manufacturer's directions.
