Our Refund Policy

Basic refund policy

Thanks for purchasing our products at The Original Needle Beetle. Because of the nature of our one of a kind, handmade products, replacement products will not be identical to the one you purchased, but all efforts to duplicate the product will be made. Due to this, replacements often include re-making the item, or needlework may have to be re-created should it also be damaged. 

Our items are not manufactured, but are carefully created and no two are alike. 

In order to be eligible for a refund, returns must be made within 30 days of receipt of the product. For all returns, shipping labels will be provided for your convenience. 

For items you are dissatisfied with for reasons that DO NOT include damage:

Please return within 30 days of receipt with a typewritten, full explanation of the reason you are dissatisfied. The product must be in the same condition that you received it and undamaged in any way. A shipping label will be sent to you via email. 

After we receive your item, the item will be inspected and we will process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments, it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card or bank statement.

If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Damaged or Broken Product Return Policy: 

Accessory Boxes: 

Damaged or broken products must be returned within 30 days of receipt, with a description of damage, and photos of the shipping box and materials that have been damaged. If the shipping box has been damaged, a new one from the shipper (usps or ups) will be required. A refund will be given at the time of receipt and all receipts must be contained with the return. Refunds will be made upon receipt of product. 

Tile Coasters: 

A photo of the damaged or broken coaster is all that is required for refund. Refunds will be issued per tile or full product refund if all tiles are broken.  Return of product is not required, but please send a photo of the broken or damaged product through our company website, and a replacement will be sent to you as soon as possible. 

Alcohol Ink Coasters:

Due to the nature of the one of a kind art for these unique designs, all efforts will be made to match color and design. Please send the product name and the photo via website email. Photo and art paper coasters: Please send a clear photo of the damaged or broken tile, and a replacement will be sent to you as soon as possible. 


If you have received a set of sconces with broken glass, please send a photo, and description of the sconce and a replacement will be sent to you at no charge. Return is not necessary, and instruction for replacing the glass will be sent with the replacement. For sconce backs and glass that have been damaged during shipping, please return the sconce backing to us, minus the broken glass.
